Vessels
I'm excited to have my vessels print up in the shop
I made it as part of my exhibition at Alnmouth last year and I really liked it. I put it in the show and was really hoping it wouldn't sell. I told Jack and he tried to buy it for me, from my own show - what a cutie, what a wally.
I'm really happy with how the print's come out, it's captured the blue background that I love. It zings against so many of the wall colours in our house.
I've given up the idea of making perfectly styled shots with my work, please accept this genuine child's bedroom as a backdrop, look at the print against that green, so good.
I ended up with this photo of my toes when I was taking a picture and it reminded me of the early days of Instagram; when I'd take pictures of my feet in different places and feel so arty.
Did anyone else do that?
Things are different now aren't they? If you put too many foot photos up you'd probably get hounded by foot fetishists. Oh well: here's my attempt to open up a new market for my work. All foot lovers welcome, please buy a print.
